Applications:

Same application as the CPFC model except this model is equipped with a harmonic detuned reactor on each step output. It is suitable for network system having substantial load with power electronic apparatus such as motor drives, UPS, computers, lifts, etc.

Detuned reactor have the following advantages:
- Prevents series resonance and parallel resonance
- Block out harmful harmonic current from flowing into the capacitor
- Reduction of harmonics for a certain amount
- Reduction of inrush currents.

AET automatic power factor correction capacitor bank

Applications:

- Reduce electrical bill by eliminating power factor surcharge.
- Relief of reactive current for addition of load., hence avoiding upgrading of the --electrical infrastructure of plants which have outgrown the installed capacity

AET tuned harmonic filter bank

Applications:

Tuned harmonic filters are used for reduction of harmonics.

A tuned filters bank consists of a series circuit of specific designed capacitor and reactor. It is very similar to CDPFC model (detuned filter) except the resonance frequency of the LC circuits are tuned very close to harmonic frequencies.

Tuned filters bank is suitable for direct connection to one single load with high harmonic distortion. Example, large hoist or mixer with DC drives.

CTHF models are non standard products and will be designed accordingly for each application.
